Uttoxeter Town Hall: Win your Wedding Competition
Terms and Conditions
Wedding Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
These terms govern the wedding prize draw promoted by Uttoxeter Town Council at the Uttoxeter
Town Hall Wedding Fayre. Please read them before entering.
1. The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, except employees and
councillors of Uttoxeter Town Council, members of their immediate families, the Council's
agents, prize suppliers, and any other person directly associated with the administration of the
prize draw.
2. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.
3. The promoter is Uttoxeter Town Council, Uttoxeter Town Hall, High Street, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire
ST14 7HN (the "Promoter").
4. Entries must be submitted via the Competition Post on Instagram and Facebook, entries close
October 10th, 12pm. Only one entry per couple is permitted. Duplicate entries may be
disregarded.
5. Entries for step 1 close at 12pm on Saturday 10 October 2026. The final public voting stage will
open at 12pm on Monday 12th October at 12pm and close at 12pm on Monday 26th October.
6. After the Wedding Fayre has closed on 11 October 2026 (the "Draw Date"), three couples will be
selected at random from all valid entries under the supervision of an independent person. These
couples will become the finalists. Selection as a finalist does not mean that the prize has been
won.
7. The three finalists will be contacted using the email address supplied on entry and will be privately
messaged on Instagram. Each finalist must confirm by 3pm on 11th October 2026 that they wish
to take part in the public vote and must provide the information, photographs and permissions
reasonably requested by the Promoter. If a finalist does not respond in time, declines to take
part or is ineligible, the Promoter may randomly select a replacement finalist.
8. The three finalists will then take part in a public vote on Instagram. Voting will open at 12pm on
Monday 12th October and close at 12pm on Monday 26th October. Photographs of the finalists
will be published on our official Instagram account, where the public can vote by liking their
preferred finalist's photograph. Each like will count as one vote. The finalist's photograph with
the highest number of likes at the time voting closes will be declared the winner. Votes received
outside the voting period, duplicate or automated votes, and votes which the Promoter
reasonably considers fraudulent or manipulated may be disregarded.
9. The finalist receiving the highest number of valid votes will win the prize. If two or more finalists
receive the same highest number of valid votes, the winner will be selected at random from
those tied finalists under the supervision of an independent person. The winner will be contacted
by Monday 26th October 2026 and must confirm acceptance of the prize via Instagram or email.
If
the winner does not respond within 14 calendar days of the Promoter's second contact attempt,
the prize will be forfeited and the Promoter may offer it to the finalist with the next-highest
number of valid votes.
10. The prize is use of the Alan Dean Suite for the wedding ceremony and the Ballroom for the
wedding reception at Uttoxeter Town Hall, together with a welcome drinks package supplied by
Mint Cocktail Company and welcome canapes supplied by Chef Lucas. Prize is subject to these
terms and conditions, venue availability, the Town Hall's booking conditions and any reasonable
venue requirements.

by contacting the Promoter. The Promoter may still be required to provide the information to the

and conditions. The Promoter may refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone who
